Huge increase in spam email......?

Has this anything to do with Facebook, and the application that i add? I'm fed up with getting about 30+ spam emails per day all of a sudden. Thanks.

You are most likly getting the spam because either you subscribed to mailing list, without saying that you do not want other companies to contact you, or one of your friends entered your email into one of these "introduce 20 friends and get a free ipod" sites. whatever you should be able to click an unsubscribe button on the email, as it is a legal requirement of the company.

u was getting about the same amount of spam/day but i went through my 2700 unread messages that were spame (no exxageration!) and spamed them all and now i have a HUGE list of blocked adresses so now i get 10 spams per day

some of the repetetive spams i save the email adress and when it was on those sites that sends spam to put you email adres i use theirs!
