If Dick, Chris, O Rei, Sean, Kral and Fox knows how to keep quiet, Mitt could have won.

He was anachronistic, mentally in another time warp. He was clueless about so many things, and his barrage against Pres Obama for 5 years was too hateful for people. His platform consisted of berating and attacking the President's policies, and he did not even have any solutions or new ideas. The only Twittering were in his eyelids when he was nervous.

Republicans are all about maintaining things as they are, repeating the old ways, no change, except where government spends money to help people excluding rich people. Wealthy people benefit from government largesse a thousand times more than the ordinary person but they dont see that as taking taxpayer money for themselves. They feel they deserve it. They are plutocrats or oligarchs.

Romney couldnt B.S. any more than he did, and lie any more than he did but he was a big phony and thats why he couldnt win. The right-wing experts cannot see that most of the country are more liberal than they are. The GOP has to change their ideas, their thinking and their attitude to be inline with the majority, not pander to a small bunch of right-wing religious crazies.

He needed advisers who were willing to go outside the Republican echo chamber for information. At the very least, they could watch MSNBC to see what their opponents were saying about them. Or listen to NPR to find out what is really going on in the world.

I would be very surprised if his staff didn't monitor Twitter, Facebook and all of those other sites and feed their own blogs etc. Over there you should be able to find them far easier than me. I also he would have several email accounts for the elections, but not his private one.
