What has Israel become (Gilad Sharon's Jerusalem Post article)?

This is what the son of former Israeli PM Ariel Sharon wrote in the Jerusalem Post today:

"We need to flatten entire neighborhoods in Gaza. Flatten all of Gaza. The Americans didn’t stop with Hiroshima – the Japanese weren’t surrendering fast enough, so they hit Nagasaki, too."

How can the Israeli people - of all people - justify to THEMSELVES invasions, occupations, ghettoisation and dehumanisation of an entire people, and now calls for GENOCIDE.

I beg of you Israel, stop for a moment and reflect on what you are doing to yourselves, never mind the Palestinians.

This fight began in 1948 when the imperial powers handed the Palestinians' land to the Jews. They did NOT start this fight. But frankly, even if they did, this man is talking about GENOCIDE for Christ's sake.
Have you forgotten that it is Israel which is illegally occupying the West Bank, not the Palestinians?

He is right.. but i want to ask you something ? Why is Hamas targeting Israelis ? The same things happens to Israelis.. only the muslims never see them.. Why do they only see what Israel is doing ? Israel is using the eye for an eye method. Might be right, might be wrong. Thing is they did go too far now, but again I ask you why don't the palestinians stop Hamas.. Hamas has destroyed their chances of having a state.. these parasites don't care about palestinians.. they care about destroying Israel, with the prices of innocent civilians on both sides. So he wants to flatten Gaza, okay. The rest of the Middle East wants to flatten you. Everybody wants to flatten each other and I'm sure it will only take one attempt to flatten to begin a chain reaction of flattenization.

It's an op ed and you push it as propaganda as if the 8mil Israeli population and their government endorse it as the only view. Israel is a democracy full of all kinds of people and they have a free press to express their opinions.

If you want a real story i'd be looking at the radicals who's agenda is to "kill the jews down to the very last one except the one hiding behind the farghout tree" and teach that BS to their children. Hamas did a bloody take over of the Gaza strip and took control of the other radio and television programming and replaced it with their own. They now teach constant BS to their children, have both the Palestinian and the Israeli peace process hostage to their own Hamas violent agenda.

Hamas stormed the radio and television stations, basically dismantled the entire civilian infrastructure and replaced it with their militant one.
