What is the internet experience on a tablet computer?

Hey I'm getting the Google Nexus 7 soon, with a 7" screen. I was wondering how web pages look, and if it's like the desktop version or mobile e.g does facebook and twitter look like the destop version like on a PC?

You can select either the mobile OR desktop versions of a site.
It does remember what you specify.

In the browser settings you can change the user agent to get the desktop or mobile version of pages.
