What careers do people with a degree in psychology end up in?
I heard that a small percentage of people who get these degrees are actually in practice. Where do the rest go. What do they do?

It's pretty much the starting basis for absolutely anything!
Where do the rest go? They usually carry on to do a further degree afterwards. But I'm sure you see a lot of people with these jobs listed above! They go alot of places just not places you expect like an official psychologists office with regular clients.

I'm a children's librarian with a major urban public library. I deal with all sorts of people, from different socioeconomic strata, education levels, ages, ethnicities, beliefs, levels of mental health, and so on. You have to know how to handle people who may be upset about something else that day or something that happened the last time they were in a library, people with drug, housing or mental problems, people who treat you like an uneducated flunky, and so on.
