Hi! It can be very frustrating when the technology we use doesn't work properly!

It sounds like your issue is twofold:

1) If your LCD is experiencing any kind of straight, horozontal or vertical lines it is possible that your LCD panel or LCD cable is defective, damaged, or that you have a loose cable that is causing display issues. There are also times where defects or damage to the motherboard or CPU can cause video issues.

2) When you experience issues with loading web pages, where you are not able to see content, redirected to other sites, or the unit as a whole locks up, it is likely that you may have some issue with malware or viruses that might be blocking content. Your antivirus software or security settings might be blocking the content. Also, you might need certain plugins or upgrades to your browser to be able to see all the content. Especially if you are able to access the websites you want to visit in one browser but not another, it makes me think that it may be a problem with that specific browser. Try upgrading your Internet Explorer browser to the most current available version. Also try deleting your browsing history, cached pages, and cookies. If you have antivirus software, consider running it. If you don't have antivirus software you should probably get some.

In both cases, if you take your computer to an authorized service / repair center they should be able to give you a diagnosis for your unit.

Good luck!
