How to promote graphic design services online?
I am looking for effective ways of promoting Pocket Money Designs http://www.pocketmoneydesigns.co.uk. PMD specialises in quality, affordable designs for start-up, small and growing businesses. I am looking to target that market specifically.

I am currently relying on word of mouth referrals and business that I pick up through online business forums.

Does anyone have any other suggestions for the best ways to promote my services?

In today’s very dynamic and ever changing labor market, there is more than just the conventional 9 to 5 job. There are a lot of options to work at home, doing exactly what you like, at your own price. Some of these solutions are: Jobsfor$10, Elance, Odesk and others. I have tried them all, and I chose jobsfor10$. The main advantages that Jobsfor10$ provides, by comparison to the other similar options, are:
- you can find very specific services (example: 70 High Backlinks from sites with PR6-8, 35,000 Traffic Visitors To Your Website, submit your site to 230 Plus Search Engines, 2 ebook cover design, upload, install, and configure any script for your website, write a best 300 word above article on any subject , etc)
-The prices are low ($5 - $10 - $20)
- The work and payment are 100% guaranteed
-There is no negotiation, as the prices are fixed
-The signup process is very lean and easy
-The website has a very smart services ranking service, that allows the customer to make the best informed choice

Actually I found a better place, a fast and flexible job marketplace. It is http://jobsfor10.com/. There are a lot of work opportunities available there and also a wide variety of offers for people looking to employ. I bought 5 jobs and covered my monthly marketing activity in $50: business cards design, 2 professional articles, 100 new Facebook likes, 1000 new Facebook followers and video presentation of my business by elegant movie. In the real life it could have cost $1,000!
Also, jobsfor10 has a new feature, allowing buyers to make a specific job request, so they are able to ask someone to do exactly what they are looking for.
This can be done on jobsfor10 for only $20 -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XmBIGyiuTiU

Your website looks great! I would put a lot more effort into on site optimization for search engines (you only have a few keywords listed, but I know there are probably at least 20 more you could place in your meta keywords). Also, stay away from craigslist type websites, they are mostly junk and low paying. I use a lot of freelance websites (there is a list here: http://freelanceswitch.com/finding/the-m...ob-sites/) and I spend all of my non-client project time building links back to my website. This is all to build up your SEO and for what we do, people are searching online!

Also make sure to go to networking meetings, create online promotions, use social media, etc. I have an entire list of unique marketing ideas for any business, check out the link below. Integration in all of your online marketing efforts is key!
