People follow and unfollow people all the time, so how would this person just know it was you?
Do you think that person is checking to see if you follow them?

Some people are anal like that and must know exactly who follows them. Twitter gives you a list of followers. You weren't on it anymore. Simples.

There's a twitter app called who unfollowed me and it allows you to check the people who have unfollowed you.
