Why is it taking the Blue Jays so long to hire a new manager?
Possible reasons -
Not enough money to hire someone qualified
Can't find anybody to take responsibility for the Marlin castoff

What's the rush?

It is still 2 1/2 months to the middle of February.

It isn't. Say hello -again- to John Gibbons! Manager of your Toronto Blue Jays! Supposedly.

Better to take the time to find the right manager than choose someone immediately only to realize he doesn't fit your organization.
