What sort of jobs does the humanities field lead into?

Can you go to marketing through the humanities field? Also, would you think marketing jobs have a good job outlook?

Nearly everyone I know who got a degree in the Humanities became a teacher - sad to say. Marketing people usually have a Business degree.

I think the world will always have a need for marketing - capitalism drives it. I think the challenge right now is that social media is turning marketing completely on its head. Traditional channels are gone or severely diminished.
