Okay, me and this boy have been best friends since we were about 7 and ever since he started dating his girl friend back in January, we've been getting into fights. About a month ago we all got into a fight on Twitter. He told me to stop talking to him and his girl friend cause i don't even realize why we're not friends anymore. And he's never told me why he just fussed me out. And i mean me and this boy were close and i mean really close. He was like a boyfriend actually. He always told me I was pretty and whenever I downed myself he'd keep telling me that I was pretty and I wasn't fat. Whenever someone made fun of me or insulted me, he'd jump on them and insult them worst. He made some guy cry after the guy had messed with me. I mean I really like him. I've always have. And it's killing me not bein able to talk to him every day like we used to. He used to text me all the time. Sended me good morning and good night texts. I felt special. Everyone said we were going to grow up and get married and whenever someone did say that in front of me and him he'd just smile and say "Whatever". But anyways. Ever since him and his first serious girl friend past their 6 month anniversary we haven't been hanging out all the time like we used to. He would always make me not tell anyone we were hanging out because she'd text him and ask him a million questions asking what was going on. We used to hug all the time, we've held hands several times. And he almost kissed me one day. But back to the main problem. We ride the same bus and he lives not even 5 minutes away from me... One day there was no where to sit so he had to sit in the seat across from me. I made the first move and said "Hey" and he replied with "Hey" like he'd been waiting to talk to me for a long time. We talked and I asked "Are we friends?" and he said " I don't know" and kept smiling. I said something funny to the boy who was sitting in front of us cause he kept looking at us and he started laughing and kept looking at me like I was the love of his life. ( Not the boy in the front. ) And I said "About what you tweeted me, what are the reasons that were not friends? If you don't remember what you said I'd be happy to pull them up!" And then he said "Nooo. No. No. No. If you read it I will put my headphones in and listen to my music!" And I said "Well answer me then!" And he said "I don't know. I was mad and I didn't know what I was saying..." And then my boyfriend called me and I said hold on for a minute. And at the end of the phone call I said "Alright, I love you too!" and he acted like he was pissed off when he heard that! And then I go off the bus. And we haven't spoken since. And that was like 3 weeks ago. But every time I see him in the hallway he always stares at me like he wants to talk to me but is afraid to. When me and my class were in the library yesterday, I sat at a table with a bunch of guys across the room from him in like a diagonal, and he kept staring at me. And everytime I looked at him he would look away really fast and then look right back at me. I don't know what to do. He was my best friend and I may actually think I was falling in love with him... Hell, I know I was in love with him!!! It kills me not being able to talk to him everyday like we used to..... From the information I just provided, what does this all mean? Does he hate me? Does he have feelings for me? Is he scared to make a move? Is he confused??? Please help! All of the information is 100% true! All the replies help. Thanks!

He could hate you and be confused I suggest you just confront him in person and ask him straight up what's going on with him.

Hell to the yes, he loves you, or at least has feelings for you girl! Make the move, if he gets mad whenever you talk to your boyfriend, he is jealous, and if he talked to you when his girlfriend wasn't around. It could mean she doesn't want him talking you, not that he doesn't like you. Girl, if you like him that much. Tell him! What've you got to lose?
