What types of careers can come from having a degree in media studies and cinema studies?
I'm trying to decide on a major so your help is very much welcomed!!!

well... you can be like a movie tester. i know it's not a very good idea, but idk. you can be a journalist for the entertainment column.

There are sooooo many, and communication studies in general are very applicable to virtually any career. Some specific highlights include:

IN BUSINESS: Account Executive, Hospitality Manger, Paralegal, Advertising Manager, Hotel Manager, Personnel Specialist , Speech Writer

IN COMMUNICATIONS: Actor, Government Relations, Photojournalist, Market Researcher, Public Information Officer, Radio/TV Announcer

IN GOVERNMENT: Campaign Manager, Government Advisor, Minister/Priest/Rabbi, Negotiator, Lawyer, Lobbyist, Social Worker, Translator

IN EDUCATION: Prof., Administrator, Educational Tester Public Relations Officer, Guidance Counselor, Camp Counselor, Teacher, Special Events Coordinator

The entertainment industry is very competitive. Be sure to complete internships and make business and entertainment connections soon in your college career so that when you graduate, you will have a decent entry level job. With a degree that specialized, I would imagine that any real worth while career opportunities would only be in the field of entertainment and cinema. Maybe working at a local ticketmaster, or a thearte arts/cinema company.
