should i follow him on twitter again (awkward)?

there's this guy i know from high school. we are just acquaintances because we never really hung out, except like once at this concert many years ago. we're both friends on facebook and instagram. so the other day i decided to follow him on twitter, but then i changed my mind and unfollowed him. i only follow close friends and some celebrities i like. but now i feel awkward because i got an email today that he is now following me. should i follow him again or leave it alone?

you both are friends on facebook and so i see nothing wrong with following him
the decision is up to you but sounds to me like he really wants to follow you so follow back!
