Why does this Blue Screen Of Death keeps happening to my computers?
Well I have a Dell Laptop. The only thing I really get on is Twitter and YouTube and Facebook from time to time. And then when I turn on my computer This Blue screen came up with all these numbers. And researched the blue screen on my other computer and I figured out it was called the Blue Screen Of Death and I really didn't understand It. So the next day I log on to my other computer and the Blue Screen of Death killed my second Laptop so now Im what I am asking is:
What does It Mean?
How Can It Be Fixed?
What Makes the Blue Screen of Death appear?
And How Can you Prevent this from happening again?

Hello, I am Nitika from the Dell Social Media outreach team.

Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) is the popularized name for what is technically called a STOP message or STOP error. It's the blue, full screen error that often displays after a serious system crash. And the computer almost always freezes and requires rebooting.

A Microsoft window detects the threat on the system & also show an error code and creates a dump file on the system through which we can diagnose the problem.

As you have already checked with different systems which is appreciated but

I need to know the exact error .Whenever you start the pc you might get the window with BSOD error but due to system restart we can’t note down the error, in that case we need to

1. Shut down the pc & start the pc again & start tapping F8
2. Select the last option automatic restart
3. Disable the automatic restart
4. Start your system normally & check the BSOD error
5. You will get the error on left hand side which starts with 0x00000*******

I would appreciate you if follow the provided steps and you will get the BSOD error so that we can diagnose the problem & proceed further to fix this issue ASAP.

Follow the instructions below to run hardware diagnostics
1. Press F12 on the dell logo while powering on the system.
2. Complete all the diagnostics and make a note of error codes if any

If possible please provide me your system service tag so that I can check your order details and give you the correct driver & some settings which needs to be changed

And you can find the service tag

**on the bottom of the laptop on the white sticker
**it’s a seven digit alphanumeric code which ends with BS or number 1.

If in case you do face any challenges in the process, please feel free to contact me directly by sending me a private message or by through a reply to this blog.

We would recommend you do not post your private information on a public forum and if in incase any specific contact details need to be shared, please use a private message.

Thanks & Regards
