How can I get traffic to my website?

I just created a website about making money online 2 days ago and I only had 56 views since then.
I added my website url to maybe over 30 different search engines.
I read a guide about SEO and I optimized my website a bit and it did gave me some more hits but not really much.
I tried facebook, twitter, google+ to advertise my website but it didn't even give me more then 10 hits.
I wrote few topics promoting my website on some affiliate marketing forums, but still nothing.
I really don't know why it is so hard to get mroe traffic.
Any ides?

Get Twitter. Register on a site called ManageFlitter. It costs $12 a month, but it's worth it.

1. Follow everyone that is in the same niche as you (Although don't follow too much people if you are a new user, if you aren't new, follow at least 1,000 people a day) a good chunk of them are gonna follow you back.

2. Next day, unfollow all the people that don't follow you back. Give them a day though, they might be genuinely busy. If they don't follow you back within a day, then chances are they're not going to follow you.

3. Next day, follow another 1,000 people, and repeat the process.

Before you know it, you're going to have LOT'S of followers. Then start tweeting your website link.

Ranking on the first page of each search engine will help with getting traffic. I recommend heading over to http://www.warriorforum.com and just browsing each thread. You sshould look for threads that show you how to create backlinks to your site. There is so much information on that site that can help with SEO so i recommend looking around the whole site.

You could also try getting traffic through facebook by creating a Page that redirects to your site, or you could use Youtube to drive traffic.

With so many websites (thousands to be exact) going live each day, it's harder now to get traffic. However, you can suceed at gaining traffic to your website. You just have to work really hard at it.

Here's what you can do:
1-Use long tail keywords. These are unique keywords that will be relevant to your site's information. And chances are no other website will have these keywords. So when people type in these keywords on search engines, your site will appear. I recommend (if you can afford it) that you try http://www.hittail.com.

2-You need to write a press release announcing your new website. Use a press release distribution service to get the word about it. They will circulate it to various online sites. Here's some information about the importance of a press release:

3-Continue social marketing with Twitter, Facebook, Google+, etc.
