Invader Zim movie real?

I heard there is going to be an invader zim movie. Is that true?

Haven't heard but there is a whole series of Buzz Lightyears cartoons based on the Zim character on Disney Channel. Surprisingly good.

No. There's a dvd coming out though.

Weeeeell . . . The network definitely isn't coming out with anything like that. The mentioned DVD, Operation Doom, is correct, but all that is is a bunch of the highest rated episodes thrown together. Not that that is a bad thing, it's just that as far as we know, it doesn't have anything new or particularly exciting on it. However, there is a movement that's using this as an attempt to bring back IZ called Operation Head Pigeons which you can find on facebook.

So, are we to resign ourselves with the thought of no IZ movie? Nope. Actually, there -is- a movie of IZ currently in production. However, it is going to be created by a team of fans. Well, actually no. It's a DVD with all the top rated episodes. Believe or not, Its a test. Apparently if the sales go well, the chances for new Invader ZM episodes will be EXTREMELY HIGH, like chances are it will air. The reason they are showing episodes on NickToons right now instead of tossing it away is because of the increasing dedicated fan base. Overall to answer your question, if these DVDs sell well, they might make the episodes and the movie Invader Dib they were thinking about.
