Why does Twitter delete/decrease the number of people Twitter users follow?
I was following the twitter limit of 2,000 people and then my following list decreased to 1,999 people. What happened to that 1 missing Twitter user i was following? Why Twitter doesnt notify me when an auser accounts twitter page im following is missing from my list?

Perhaps he deleted his account.

And if Twitter had to notify everyone who had a change in follow count, they'd have no time to run the actual servers.
