DO Y'ALL THINK MY BILLS WILL BE GOING UP IN THE WINTER?
I live in SC and my grandma is about to move out so I will have to take care of the bills myself and sale my iphone and get a prepaid cellphone. My mom says the reason for that is because I haven't been able to find a roommate and my bills will go up in the winter. Do you think my bills will go up in the winter?& do y'all know any other ways or websites for me to find a roommate because I have tried craigslist, newspaper, & facebook.thanksSmile

**p.s. Don't forget I live in SC**
& the only person I ever hang out with is my mom because I was homebound my last few years of high school

I don't know how cold it gets there but almost certainly you will need heating on at some point. Grandma will probably have a file or something with her old bills in it. Why not have a look at those and see what she paid last year?
It's better to have a room mate that you know, at least at first. Or friend of a friend. Don't take some random person from Craigslist.

Utilities have been steadily increasing each year; it would be a safe bet to assume that trend will continue. If you have never done so, I highly recommend creating a budget. It will help you figure out exactly where you need to put your money each month, and help you see where you might be able to "trim" a bit.

As far as finding a roommate, I have one suggestion: College. Locate the college closest to you. Pretty much every college I've ever seen has a bulletin board; if you post a notice there, you're very likely to be contacted by a college student in need of somewhere to stay for the school year, especially if you post right away (since colleges are just starting the year now!) Good luck, and I hope you find someone to help you out!
