What happens 10 years from now (technology-wise)?
The world is on an expanding technology and its really hard to keep up with new and improved things when you're not rich. We are generating an advancement in technology twice their predecessor every 2 years.

In terms of disk storage, will terrabytes be a common storage capacity in 10 years?

In terms of videos, can comes after Blue ray? And how much more of an improvement can there be?

The development for vehicular improvement (other than its entertainment value for cars) didn't change much in the past decade so will we see any difference after 10 years?

Will the development of human cloning be made public? And what world impact will it create? Would they have the same human rights? Would they be use to harvest failed organs?

How small will mobile devices be after 10 years? What more improvement can we envision on the use of miniature devices?

In terms of gaming, what new technology comes next after wii? Is Virtual Reality games (at home) too early?

How much will we know about alpha centauri? Would Mars landing be possible in the next decade?

What benefits will the newly discovered chemical elements are there in the future (e.g. Copernicium)? Will volatile compounds be now use legally to create a less expensive energy source?

Are we at war or for peace? Will the development of biological weapons increase or diminished?

Seeing that there's much awareness for the environment nowadays, will we be seeing a lot of expensive environment friendly appliances in the future? Will styrofoams no longer be used for take outs and deliveries; or would we finally discover a less expensive alternatives?

What will surpass wikipedia and facebook? During the past decade, we've seen a lot of internet companies merging with other companies. Who will be next in this list of conglomeration?

What's the most likely disease to be cured this coming decade?

Will 3D viewing in cinemas be a common place? Should we start investing on buying our own 3d glasses? What comes next after Imax 3D?

Touchscreens are starting to create enough hype to become a common tool early-on though it took around 2 decades since the boom of personal computers before it was fully marketed. So what's next after touchscreen monitors? How long it will take before we can have holography inexpensively sold worldwide? And whch company will venture into this field?

What comes next after Windows 7? I actually saw Microsoft futuristic take (through youtube) on what they will have between 2015 and 2020 and it is an amazing expanse. How realistic is it from being achieved (e.g. touchscreen slide-ups from one screen to the next becoming common in business functions, children using transparent glass to draw things and even perhaps replace the blackboard)?

What will replace our fuel source or will it ever been replaced after 10 years?

How would increase in world population be improved against the consumption of goods and our natural resources while creating improvement in the life span of a human being?

There's still so much out there to find and improve. In 100 years, we'll finally be able to travel half the world in less than 5 hours or even in minutes. In 200 years, maybe we can finally achieve vehicles hovering the ground, a cure for the common cold, live in the moon, meet outworldly race, improve cellular regeneration, eradication of poverty, etc.

But until that time comes, in a realistic point of view, what comes after 10 years?

Cancer will surely be cured but it will take a lot of money and time. Then there will be solar cars and human clones (if there will be any) will never have the same rights, does your dog have the same rights as u?

10 years from now we'll be signing data tablets instead of papers using our thumbnail. Although there are companies that do this already, it would probably be a common thing.

Terrabytes will be the unit of data storage commonly use but the need for an increasing data storage will continue. There will also be an increase in internet connection. RAM speed will increase.

3D might not become common because of the need for eyeframes but I think we will have it solved or probably create a new technology behind this altogether.

Organic LED would now be use revolutionizing TV screens and monitors plus it would be less expensive.

Companies would still continue to use Blu ray seeing that they invested a huge amount of money converting old movies into this new technology. What's next though I believe are holographic discs. Japan has been expanding on this project to compete with the American market but I surmise in 2018, Holographic Versatile Disc will start its marketing campaign.
