How can I track the order on a 2012 Ford Fiesta I ordered at the dealership?

I placed the order last week. The dealership gave me a a Ford Order No and an Order Code. I was wondering how I'd track this...anyone know?
I asked the Dealership, they said I had to contact Ford. Not exactly sure how this works. Like, do I just call Ford and be like, hey where's my car..I have no VIN number or anything.
