Whats the benefit of being partners with youtube?

For the more famous gurus, its their job. After being partnered, you can enable ads for monetizing - meaning, for the views and clicks that their ads get, google/youtube is paying the youtube partners. No one knows how much their salary actually is, though, because I'm pretty sure Youtube doesn't allow them to disclose it. Whats your channel name going to be called?

youtube will pay you to post videos if you become really popular. Also, a lot of the gurus also get HUGE contracts with fashion magazines and make a lot of money off of that. If you are good you will become very youtube famous. I know the gurus even do meet and greets with their fans! But your videos have to be good quality and you have to post them consistently; like every week.
