Any advice on how go get exposure for my "business"?
Im a new beachbody coach. I've sold a few things but nothing major. I want nothing more than to help people conquer. Beachbody helped me beat bulimia and now its time to pay it.forward. problem is, I live in a small town and noone really cares about how they look.

I do my daily Facebook posts and post my update pics ect.

How do I further get my name out there?

Try to spread the word around on some business platforms. People visiting business platforms are in the mood to find some quick links for business that's how you might click on something worthwhile.

put together a professional looking craigslist ad free with http://www.prettyposts.com advertise 3 times per week in your location.

create a facebook business page. add regular content about the area your in. you can find articles, post quotes, make comments etc on the page. invite people to join or "like" your page. the page is important because it can rank in the search engines.

open a twitter account also. add your location. tweet and in each tweet add your location so if someone searches for lose weight (your town) you pop up. they will add you most likely. add content to your twitter account also about what you do and how to info. be helpful and valuable.

google places. secure your address and promote yourself locally with google. you want to rank for particular keywords that have your location. example if someone types. bulimia cure + your town you pop up. try to generate as many keywords like this as you can with your town and rank for them.

you rank for that by creating a blog and writing blog posts. use those keywords in the title , text, tags, domain name, meta description etc. you can do a search to find out how to do all this if you don't know how.

once you have a blog you can also use paid traffic to get more business coming your way. google adwords and facebook ads. both teach you how to use their services. this can generate traffic almost instantly.

participate in forums. you want to become a leader in your market. find forums on this subject and start engaging in the conversations and answering questions.

write articles on sites like squidoo, hubpages, ezinearticles and ehow. your allow to include a link to your blog. if your article ranks well in the search engines people may visit your blog.

aweber email opt in form. this allows you to capture traffic to your site. ever go to a website or blog and they have those email forms on the side offering a free ebook or something. those forms allow them to capture traffic and market to the people on their email lists later. increasing sales and offering value to their list members.

offline you could join your chamber of commerce and network with the people there. learn how to network correctly and people will refer business to you all the time as you do the same for them.

do free speaking engagements about what you went through and how you overcame but try to keep a lot of the marketing out of your presentation. you simply want people to give you a call if they have this problem to learn more about what can help. the actual selling comes later, build the relationship first with many people. soon that will turn into many sales and many referrals.

last but not least youtube videos. create tutorial videos, testimonials that show proof, a give away. you can distribute the videos to your blog, twitter, facebook, etc.. major selling tool.
