Arsenal fans: Which player has annoyed you more for leaving?
Gael Clichy
Robin Van Persie
Ashley Cole
Samir Nasri
Cesc Fabregas
Emmanuele Adebaor
Kolo Toure
Mathieu Flamini

Also looking back on this list of players, it seems as if any player that leaves arsenal, some fans have a grudge against them, as a neutral would I be right in saying that? The thing about football teams is players come and go. Not many of Arsenals current team will stay there all of their careers also
@Alex but dont you think that Ashley Cole has justified his move to Chelsea by winning 3 titles since then and domestic cups and the champions league last season and Arsenal have failed to win a trophey? Im not slating Arsenal im just making a point
@KHAN i was thinking why a lot of arsenals fans hate rvp then i was thinking hey every player that seems to leave arsenal some fans give out about them.

I'm not an Arsenal Fan but I think Robin Van Persie or Cole. They left the club that made them who they are, to go to Manchester United and Chelsea. Also these were good players who left for a team in t he same league, which shows a lack of respect. Fabregas left for Barcelona, which is fair enough as it is his boy hood club and he was always going to leave at some point. The rest don't matter as they are not that good and Arsenal got a lot of money from them and used that to buy cheaper, probably better, replacements.

flamini , he was the first to move for more money and the first time i thought of arsenal as a selling club others had been sold when they may of be on the slide but flamini had a great season and was young ,it was the start of the down fall

Gael Clichy: He left quietly but insisted he wanted silverware, end of story nothing more said...fair enough

RvP: Left Respectively but rather in an unjustified circumstance (that Podolski, Giroud and Cazorla had all come in and he still maintained his intentions of leaving...quite possibly led to the sale of Song too) but I'm not mad at him, he's kept his trap shut and not criticised the fans or Wenger

Ashely Cole: He left in an unjusitifed circumstance...but he didn't invite too much of the talk. The fans were persistent on criticising him and then he fired back and kept firing back, I have no opinion on him, Arsenal fans asked for him to shoot back at them

Samir Nasri: Left in an Unjustified manner, literally insisted between leaving for United or City and never wanted to stay...and hinted at money but then claimed it was success. He couldn't take the criticism and then lashed out at Arsenal fans instead of doing what the others did and shutting up and then criticised the stadium, fans and other aspects. Then didn't humbley keep quiet after last years success, he hit back after he won the title and effectively kept the hate going when he could have doused the flames by not saying anything on twitter or to the media. We all despise nasri because he can't can't do the professional thing and shut up. In the end, he's rich, he's talented, the fans aren't & he should respect that but he doesn't.

Fabregas: Arsenal Legend, sure didn't win any major trophies whilst in his prime and in the starting XI but certainly a legend, his passion, clean slate with us fans and still helping the club out (called Arteta and encouraged him to join Arsenal, and talked to Cazorla and influenced the move) all just accumulates to Fabregas being one of my favourite players at Arsenal of all time. Love him. Smile The door is always open to Cesc

Adebayor: Left in a fairly justified circumstance as a lot of the Arsenal fans were growing tired of his ego and things he'd said whilst at Arsenal. But his actions following the departure were appauling and pathetic...but we ain't too bothered about him now, and in a sense we haven't forgiven him either, but we don't care about him basically

Kolo Toure: Meh not too bothered, just dissapointed

Mathieu Flamini: Again, Not too bothered, but very annoyed he left when we had a potential premier league winning team.

In Summary...Nasri I'd say. Despite the hate for RvP, he saved us last year, I personally can't get angry with that. And to your paragraph below, yes, we are aware players come and go, but players continuously leave Arsenal, the club has lost big players every summer since 2007. I blame the wage structure, but I also blame Teams like City, United and PSG for paying too much for players and driving up inflation in the footballing economy and therefore taking up player wages too. We've lost players down to wage structure over the majority, players that would have not achieved these wages 10 years ago
