I am confused... Why do people think that the government is causing all this bad weather?

Seriously I thought it was just my grandparents who thought this but I see so many people on twitter & facebook saying that the government is messing with the weather and causing it to be worse.

Things that people do not fully understand, they tend to make up stories or believe the first thing that is told to them.

If all these people that believe that the government is using HAARP or anything else to control the weather did some actual meteorological research, they would find out the real truth.
