How to use a gif avatar on Yahoo answers?

I see people with gif avatars on here but when I try to upload one it says it doesn't support that format ;-; help pleaseeee

You have to do exactly what Byakuya Kuchiki has said, but it's now impossible. As of recently, Twitter has stopped allowing gifs as profile pictures, therefor you are now unable to have a gif as your profile pic. People who already had gifs on Twitter before the change will still have their profile picture animated, but after the change you can no longer have a gif as your profile picture. Sorry...
