You can post on the craigslist linking back to your ads, but in that case you are sending traffic to other listings as well.

Facebook and MySpace would be pretty good places, if you do the whole social netowkring thing. Hell, Facebook practically has its own Ebay style thing.

There are all kinds of ways to use the internet to direct traffic to your eBay listings. Soliciting and spamming is not the way.
