I am doing a magazine fundraiser and I need 9 more sales in 1 day! How can I get 9 without going door to door? Only by people I know...? Any tips?

Facebook is the answer!

Start a facebook page or group specifically for your fundraiser and design it to advertise your magazine fundraiser and to encourage people to subscribe or buy magazines. Obviously give details of how people can buy the magazines and who they must contact etc.

(I obviously don't know if you are running an offline magazine fundraiser or an online magazine subscription fundraiser; if it's offline get people to contact you directly or if it's online send them via a link to your magazine subscription page... either way doesn't matter.)

Then invite all your friends, family and contacts to join the page/group and take part in your fundraiser by buying magazines. Write a emotive invitational letter that makes people feel like they are already involved and also encourage them to forward the invitation on to all their contacts.

Make sure you explain how easy it is for people to buy a magazine from you and that it really isn't a lot of money to spend to help a good cause and get a great magazine in return. I would also suggest you recommend certain magazines that you think your prospective customers might be interested in. If they know they can get a magazine that they like and want you'll be increasing your chances of making a sale!
