Would anyone like to invest in yours truly?
I am a very talented actress and singer. I'm low on cash because no one recognizes how talented i am. Can anyone please invest a small amount of money in me? I will pay it back, Im totally going to be a star someday. Rich and famous.

Any profession involving mass media is a matter of a few providing content for the many. For the few, this is lucrative but it also means that there is only room for a few to be successful as the appetite of the many can be easily satisfied by the few. It's the epitome of being able to sell something many times. Basically is the performance actually worth the millions that might be paid to an actress or actor? Of course not, it's worth the $8 that people pay to watch the movie but if millions of people pay $8 then you have your millions. Unfortunately, the mass media aspect means it's a very difficult industry to break into as it's the selling of content over and over again once that content has been produced.

Recently, with the Internet, the barriers of entry to the market has been lowered and it's become cost effective to create small niche markets in social networks rather than focus on mass media. You would have a better chance of breaking into the industry by focusing on these social networks. Another facet of social networking was peer to peer lending and micro lending. People are more willing to part with small amounts like $10 or $20 to a worthwhile cause or an attractive payment plan then they are to part with thousands so with peer to peer lending, essential hundreds or thousands of people invest small inconsequential amounts to meet your needs. Unfortunately, the recession has hit peer to peer lending hard and the promise to pay back when you become rich and famous someday isn't likely to attract investors. However, perhaps if you put up some content on a social networking page and encourage people to make donations via paypal, you may be able to attract some funds, perhaps videos of some skits and some songs. You also have to focus on networking to find opportunities, you basically have to get out there and meet people. In general, people trying to break into the entertainment industry must take up some other form of work like waitressing while they wait to be discovered.

From a psychological perspective, it's all very demoralizing, you're basically selling yourself and you will have to deal with thousands of rejections. You have to learn to not take any of this personally and to look forward to trying again. It's not a natural talent to have but you have to be gregarious to an extreme. Perhaps some presales work in cold calls will inure you to the disheartening effect of such a challenge.

P.S.
Posting such a question on the Internet with an attractive photo as your avatar and a name referring to euphoria is going to attract a lot of lewd responses. Of course money can be made in that fashion but it may not be the most advisable method.
