How can I get my ex to talk to me?

I need really good advice that I hope will work

So my ex girlfriend is the girl of my dreams, I love and adore her and would do absolutely anything in the world if it meant getting her back into my arms, she does make me sad at times but I love her, and I can't just go to her place or school cause its in a totally different area. We dated for a year or so and she gets mad at simple things like me saying cool to one of her texts, and like because I retweet something on twitter she doesn't like. Stupid, but I'd really like to get back with her, she's currently mad at me and my friend tried texting her and she said I'm gonna be a jerk but I really don't try to be :'( I love her with all my heart, please, how can I get her to talk to me. I don't really know any of her friends either
