Did Lady Gaga sample songs from Depeche Mode?

I love Lady Gaga! When I was listening to her song Dance in the Dark, my BF told me that she sampled the song from Depeche Mode. He doesn't have proof, and I've been researching but found nothing on it. I wanna know if this is true.

no evidential proof.

I don't think so. The writers who were involved in the DM song would be featuring in the song credits. Only Fernando Garibay and Lady Gaga are credited as the songwriters.

When I first listened to that song, I came to mind that some part of the song is a little similar to Depeche Mode style. But I don't think she sampled any song from them, because I listened to Depeche Mode and her song is nothing similar to any to DM songs.

I remember she wrote on twitter about six months ago while she was touring in europe that she was listening to Depeche Mode songs. Their music style probably inspired her while she was working on Fame Monster album.

my boyfriend is a depeche mode fan and he;s listened to lady gaga's entire album (the fame monster i believe) and he didn't hear any sampling from depeche mode (he def would have noticed).
