how to get more traffic for my blog?

I made a blog about a month ago, and I've worked really hard on making it look nice, and I've been putting lots of posts on it. However, I have next to no traffic or visitors.
How can I get more traffic to my blog and more readers? My blog is mainly things that I've done, reviews, and DIY craft tutorials.

Things do take time, the interenet is huge and there is as many sites as there is people surfing them.
But there are many resources online to help you advertise and promote your site.
