Can you make people stop following you on Twitter?

There are some people on my Twitter I don't want following me, and I forgot to put my Twitter account on private, but is there anyway that I can make them stop following me?

You can't. The only way is to delete the account

Block the account or make your tweets private

Simply press the little black person icon next to their name, and click "Block @whatshisname". They will now be prohibited from seeing, retweeting, or favoriting any of your tweets.
