I don't know about many of you but I tend to focus more on the first and second results of organic traffic rather than the paid links? Ranking for organic position can't be all about keywords. I hear that keyword marketing is becoming unreliable. Does it have something to do with the number of links you have pointing towards your site? Pleas somebody clear this up for me. Thanks!

Yes, it's all about traffic and volume of visitors - site popularity. I've found a few other items that are more within your control including more specific and more unique keywords. Additionally, your page titles are very important and so are using larger type i.e. headlines. Honestly, it's a combination of all these tactics - link backs, social media references, overall buzz, keyword density, unique keywords, related headlines, body copy, page titles, etc., etc. You have to think like a logical robot and like a smart marketer. Trial and error, test and retest for best results.
