How to follow people on twitter and not show everybody tweets?

I don't wish to follow 100 people and show all their tweets, is there an option that I can choose who's tweets I wish to display?

for your question I don't think there is
but for following 100 people, other Twitter users use the Lists feature, which can actually sort who they follow and show only the ones you add to the lists's tweets. It's like multiple Time lines. weather it's tweets you read and tweets you dont, to your best friends and enemies
