Matt Stafford or Jay Cutler this week?
Matt Stafford was my bona fide starter after the draft..... but he's only been decent this season. Teams are covering receivers way too much, knowing that all the Lions can do is pass the ball. Jay Cutler is my backup, and I'm thinking about starting him this week over Matt Stafford; they're facing each other on Monday... Lions vs. Bears.
I'm thinking about starting Cutler because he and the Bears have been hot, especially at home. Stafford will be facing the Bears #1 turnover defense, who will be ALL over the receivers. This means not as many passing yards as usual--- and most likely a couple picks. That's what I'm scared of. But on the other hand, Matt Stafford is.... Matt Stafford. So I'm conflicted, and that's why I'm here. What do you think; Stafford or Cutler this week?

Matt Stafford threw 2 pick sixes last year against the Bears in one of their games. He did have a finger (injury?) issue, though.

I'm a Bears fan, so I say go with Cutler.

Go with Stafford, Chicago is a solid defense but teams have a way of showing up on primetime Monday Night Football (Did you catch the SD v DEN shootout last week?). The DET offense has been sputtering but this is when they put it together- Chicago doesnt have anyone who can cover Megatron, and Mikel Leshoure is becoming a solid back. Stafford will go off this week and put up 3 TDs and around 300 yards. For more fantasy and sports betting advice follow @FantasyFrogs on Twitter and Facebook! Ribbitt!
