Can I use the same Apple ID for two devices?
I've been using an iPod touch, but now in addition, I'm getting an iPhone 4. Can I use the same Apple ID for both devices? & does that mean I'll have all the same apps on both devices? Like say I have the twitter app on my iPod, if I try to download the twitter app to my iPhone, will it let me? Or will it realize it's already been downloaded with that apple ID?

Yes when you start using your iPhone and it asks for an apple ID,you just use the same one as your iPod Touch. If you use iCloud, you'll be able to make one purchase and get it on both products.

Yes you can use same Apple ID in any number of devices. If you have purchased an app free or paid it can be downloaded any number of times in any devices with same Apple ID.
Enjoy using iPod and iPhone.
