why wont twitter app open on my yahoo page?

I am logged in on twitter, But the app. on my home browser page wont load. when i try to tweet it says oops can not update messages, try again later.

Delete the app and install it again

I've had the same issue for a couple of weeks now. I tried the suggestion from first answer to your question bellow, but it had no impact on the issue. I've submitted the question to Twitter's @Support a couple of times, but have never gotten any response from them.
