Double majoring in Economics and Media Studies?
Is this a good combination? I just got really into Economics, which I find similar to Sociology, but more practical and just as fun and exciting. I really want to work in the media industry or go into higher education. Is this a good pair as far as job prospects go? I do plan on going to grad school eventually.

It's actually a very good combination. Economics is very much related to business, so when you feel like venturing into business, your media skills will be put into much use, especially in advertising and marketing your business. Sorry for the redundancy Smile

Besides, economics is a social science, and media can be related to the social sciences too, since media nowadays influence a lot of people's decisions. And economics studies how people make decisions. There definitely is common ground between the two. I'd say go for it!
