Can people following you on twitter see your tweets?

Hi, I am new to twitter. Can people you are following such as celebrities see your tweets (what you write about what you're doing) on twitter? or is it just people that are following you that can see your tweets? thanks

yes, they can see your tweets, as a matter of fact, everyone can see your tweets of you didn't set your tweets to private(go to settings->account->protect my updates)
