Simple AT&T question! PLEASE answer!?
First of all, thank you for answering. Smile It's a pretty simple question–my parents called AT&T and disconnected my phone for a week, so I can't receive calls or texts and can't make them either. When they put my phone back online, will I receive those missed texts and calls?

I have an important text coming, and I really will need to read it. Thanks! All answers are helpful!

It seems about half say it will come and half say no. I agree with no. Because I've turned off my phone before and got messages back when I turned it back on, but if there isn't a way for your message to get to you because your account seems to be "disconnected" then no message will appear after because it will not register. I hope at&t doesn't have that set up and thought about how other people might have the same situation as you. I have Verizon so programming might be different.

No. When you are "disconnected" from AT&T meaning their services to your phone is gone. The system within AT&T servers cannot store "dead" or "unused" phones messages, otherwise they would had messages as old as 20 years ago. When you are disconnected, it is if you no longer want to phone to be with AT&T. Therefore the number will be removed from their system. Once you re-apply back to AT&T, your phone number will be back in the servers and working again. However, messages during the time period in which your phone has been disconnected, will not be received. Just twitter or facebook your friends. Or wifi them through google voice.
