How to get found on search engines?

I recently made a website and would like to get found on search engines such as google and yahoo... If anyone knows how, i would really appreciate the help

Hello,

You have to first submit your website to Google & Yahoo. Once you submit your site Google or Yahoo may take time to include your site in their database (it may take months)

Submitting website doesn't guarantee that your website would appear in search engines. To ensure presence in search engines you have to Optimize your website for search engines. The concept of Search Engine Optimization covers all those things that you need to do for getting your website in search engines. Also it helps to get your website in Top position (at least on first page) for any particular search query.

If you don't want to go for Search Engine Optimization then the only option is to go for Paid search advertising with Google Adwords or Yahoo. But remember, that's a costly option if you don't have strong revenue earning & highly converting sources on your website.

It's always recommended to go for SEO (Search Engine Optimization).

At first you should submit your site in google and yahoo search engine. after some days they will approved your submission. then you can see your site in search engine.
