how to get more followers on tumblr?

advertise on twitter and stuff like that. send a lot of asks to people. not to follow you, just like real questions, and then ask them yo follow you as a side note. maybe ask people to rate your blog, if they like it and deem it worthy to follow then they probably will. x..

First thing you need to do is ask people from tumblr or from your other accounts (facebook..etc) to check your blog out. Second is to always be active. If you can't be active all the time, I advice you to use queues. Queues are Idk what they're called but they automatically reblog the posts you have set for queues so they will start reblogging and posting even if you're not online. Third and the last part, join promos so your blog will be discovered more. You can self promote here: tumblrplug.com. I gained so many by using that I promise. It looks dumb or not a good idea but if you always plug your url, people would follow you. Now I'm close to having X,XXX followers and in just 3 months.
