Sexism against women is illegal, so why is sexism against men ok?

There are lots of examples of this all over the world, but why is it only considered sexism when women are offended?

That arrogance will get you nowhere, or maybe in prison. If a woman falsely accuses you of rape, how are you going to deal with it? You can't just keep underestimating the damages caused by misandry to men.

Being sexist isn't illegal. And this goes both ways, neither of which is right. Being sexist toward men isn't okay, but there are people that think it is. I think this is because men have always been in control and women had to fight for their rights. Maybe this is why some people seem to think that it's okay to be sexist against men.

Sexism against men isn't OK acc. to me, but that it's overlooked, knowing fully well that it's sexism, is a crime in my books.

It starts right from advertisements/media campaigns through anti-male laws and pro-female/anti-male attitudes in courts.

Media considers men as guinea pigs with which they can sell/market items for women. That's because making men look like bumbling fools looking for toilet-plungers in the baby-food section, is an "acceptable" form of humor.

And let's not get into the "Oh! Get a sense of humor, those ads/campaigns are written by MEN with a sense of humor" tripe. We do have a sense of humor, that's why we laugh at such jokes. We only point out that making jokes about the white man is perfectly acceptable, normal and deserved, while making jokes about women and men from other races would make anyone a "sexist"/"racist"

Also, many men give up without even contesting custody because the pro-female bias is stacked against them in courts. There are umpteen examples of sexism against men that we've been discussing since this morning. All of these have to change -- but we can't ask that these be legislated -- just like Feminists ask that social equality be legislated.

Men are yet to have that collective strength. It's time that men come together to raise concerns in a more collaborative manner. Taking lessons from Feminists and also cheating like them isn't a bad idea. The squeaky wheel, after all, gets the oil.
