My friend is daring me this... is it weird ?

It's not a huge dare... (sorry to dissapoint) but she is daring me to direct message a celebrity of twitter saying I love them.. Is that weird or creepy, or do fans usually do that ?

I think fans of Bieber do that a lot. It really depends on how old you were. I would expect this out of a 12 year old, but after about 16 or so, it starts getting creepy.

Celebrities are used to it and pretty much just ignore it. It's a very common occurrence.

Actually, despite what the above Answers have said, you can only Direct Message someone who is following you - so unless the celebrity is also one of your followers then it won't be possible... Sorry!

they do it and the celebrities don't even read it so if you sent it it's not going to make any difference

No, most people would do that if they could. Is the celebrity following you too? That's the only way you can direct message someone. You can 'mention' them if they're not. They might not see it though, or reply because.. what would they say to that? Lol
