Twitter or Facebook and why?

This is really important to me, so please read this and answer. I'm 14, and after begging since 6th grade, I finally may get either a Twitter or Facebook. I honestly don't know which one though! I'm leaning Twitter for the following reasons...1) Seems simpler. Just quick little updates and pictures. 2) to get news (weather, celebrities, sports, etc.) 3) seems less dangerous. (I've heard so many horror stories of girls getting raped through Facebook.... 4) lastly, my mom seems more comfortable with it. Is Twitter safer? I need to know so I can tell my mom. We know a family who's daughter got stalked through Facebook, but I've never heard of that on Twitter. Also, can you do any chatting/IM'ing on Twitter? Don't do it. Social networking is a addicting and invades you're privacy. You don't want to get addicted do you?

Ya true facebook is really dangerous...so twitter is better
reason why facebook is not good for u...
1) if you are a kid then you may get addicted to it
2) if you are a teen then its a possiblity that u may have a break up with ur bf
3)if u are married then u may get divorced
4)finally never ever create a fb its very dangerous for u
