I need help with some ideas for a halloween or fall themed chocolate.?
I'm taking a chocolate class and Tuesday the 30th of October is our final. I am in no way creative but she really wants something amazing! So anything gory or fall or just awesome would be great! Any ideas will help!! Thank you!

how about:

mummy bars - wafers covered layers of white chocolate layered on to look like bandages. plus you might get extra points for using white chocolate since most may use regular or dark chocolate.

zombie joys - almond joys ingredients but made to look like little zombies.

bit bats - a play on kit kats but shaped like bats.

chocolate harvest/chocucopia - chocolate cookies/candy shaped like the fall harvest cornucopias or you could use small chocolate cones to resemble a cornucopia and fill them with small treats like chocolate dyed and molded to look like corn or other items usually found in a harvest bowl.

sorry if these are corny. its been a long day and i'm tired. best of luck!

I have used silicone and cake molds to make chocolates. You just need to melt down, chocolate wafers or you can melt down Bakers Semi Sweet Chocolate. I have used molds such as, corn cob molds and I have also used a cornucopia mold and a turkey mold. The cornucopia and turkey molds were large so I used these a centerpieces for my Thanksgiving tables. The corn mold when the chocolate was de-molded from it was really cute. I had individual cobs of corn that I wanted to wrap with gold aluminum foil. Unfortunately, I never did find a store that sold food safe gold aluminum foil, so I opted for wrapping them with saran wrap and presented them to all the children at Thanksgiving. When you have poured your chocolate into your molds, let it sit at room temp for awhile about 15 mins. then place into your freezer for about 2 to 3 hours or overnight. De-mold by carefully flipping the mold over and gently tapping the mold to release the chocolates. The silicone molds work better because they are flexible. Or if this isn't what your looking for I've also made shortbread cookies in a heart shape or flower shape and decorate with royal icing (use food coloring to color your hearts pink and I used light blue for my flowers). Because my hearts were for Valentines Day, I decided that I would drizzle each heart with milk chocolate and some with white chocolate. Then as an added touch I added white pearled confectioner's candies and placed them onto the royal icing before it dried. So the finished cookies had a layer of colored icing drizzled with chocolate and also topped with pearl candies. Looked really nice. You could also visit the site called Wilton Baking Products. It show's some recipes on there that involve chocolate. They might look difficult but actually aren't. Good luck with your project for your chocolate cooking class. I also love chocolate coated banana's as well. Some people make pops out of them by sticking a stick into them, I also like to freeze mine. They taste really good. Another recipe that blow's most peoples mind is the Red Velvet Cake, or Triple layer Banana Chocolate Cake. Or my personal favorite, Chocolate Cheesecake. It's to die for.
