Well i was connecting my camera to my computer then tge computer fell face first against carpet about 20 centimeters. It froze, then i turned off my Comp manually and now the power button that is normally blue lights up orange and flashes while a beeping sound follows. The back light is green and steady and it sounds that it's on and operational just not wanting to go on. Please help.

Hello!

Ok, first you are going to want to try reseating your RAM modules.

First, remove your battery from the unit. Also make sure it is not plugged in.

Next remove the bottom case cover. You might need a phillips head screwdriver to turn the screws. The bottom case cover should come off. There may be more than one bay door that you have to remove.

You're looking for a small rectangular stick of RAM. See the link below for a picture of "RAM". It is about as thin as a credit card, and about the size of two very large sticks of gum. It should be held in place with two metal clips that if you move them gently outward should release the RAM. IF this has been knocked out of place, your laptop will not POST and / or power on properly.

Remove the RAM and then replace it into the unit. You will slide them into place and press them down gently until you feel the clips lock into place.

Replace your back covers and tighten any screws.

Without the battery in place, plug in your laptop to your ACAD and press the power button.

If the unit will still not power on, write down how many times the suspect beeps and take it to an authorized service provider. Writing down the "beep code"

Of course, if you're not comfortable doing this yourself, ask a friend for help or visit your local service provider who will be glad to help you.

Good Luck!
