It depends on what you sell. If you sell books, you'd want to advertise on websites about book reviews or literary discussion. If you sell car parts, advertise on car forums.
Google Adwords is a possibility - I think they will advertise Ebay stores. Google adwords will automatically place your ad when people do a search, and you bid on the clicks. It'll show you how effective your keywords are (you'll pretty much have to match your keywords with how you think people will search.) For example, I sell motorcycle and ATV accessories, so when I advertised HMF exhausts, I used keywords specific to the ATV models I had the exhausts for. Ads |

Just to add to what has already been said - it really depends on what type of thing you are selling. Do you think your products are the type of thing that people would go online to search for - if so the Google Adwords is a great idea. But be wary that you have to manage it quite closely or you can end up spending quite a lot of money quite quickly!
It might also be worth thinking about Facebook advertising, since this can ensure your advert is seen by people in the right location geographically, and the right age group interests etc. For more advice about the best way to increase sales online, have a look at our site: http://www.approvedindex.co.uk/onlinemarketing/ |
