does anyone else get these messages on twitter?!?

i get dm'd all the time with people saying stuff like: 'did you see this man taping you? creep' and 'someone is spreading nasty rumours about you' then there is a link. i'm not going to click on the link cause i think its a virus or something.......so does anyone else get this??

Yes I have gotten a couple of those too. It's spam and you should not click on it at all. But it has to be stopped somehow. Maybe report it

Yeah next time you get one don't click on it just delete it or they will be sent to people your following its a scam

Yeah, I do. It's spam, don't click the links. I found out because I have loads of followers who don't know me, or have even seen my face and got sent a DM saying 'lol look wat u did, hv u seen dis?' so I knew someone had hacked their account

It is very common unfortunately - like everyone says, its spam and should be left alone.
