How Do I Get My Book Published?
I know its hard and I know most people have enough rejection letters to build a house with but I just wanna know how to get an agent/get my book published. I don't want to self publish I want to advertise my book. How do I do this?
Can you be a little more specific? I don't want to look up some shady company on the internet, I want to know how I can be directed towards a legit agent/publisher. Thanks

Google:

How does an author find an agent

and you will get plenty of information.

Send it to publishers, until it's accepted. Then you wait until it's published. Of you could hire a subsidy publisher, to print so many, and pay them for it. But you'd have to take the books to book stores, and try to talk them into selling it for you.

You have to do what everyone else does: write a book; write it well; send it off; hope for the best. And start a different novel in case this one doesn't go anywhere. GL.

If you want to get a publisher's attention then you need to stand out from all the other people submitting their books.
1. Research the best publishers for your book genre that accept novice authors
2. Find them on LinkedIn/Twitter
3. Join groups and discussions on LinkedIn and Twitter that publishers are part of
4. See if you can find out a contact who would be reviewing your book
5. Link-in with them/follow them on Twitter
6. THEN send your book in, to the contact you have found, with a link to your Twitter and LinkedIn accounts so that when they look through your information they recognise you and pay a little more attention

I know you said you don't want to self publish, but if you do this as a starting point then you can also approach a publisher with more info on the success of your book so far and commercial info, encouraging them to take you on as an author.

Good luck!
